Nikiski to Hold Ice Derby

Come support the Nikiski Middle/High School Wrestling teams by joining in on the Island Lake Ice Fishing Tournament at Island Lake in North Kenai. The tournament will be held on February 4 with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Entry fees are $15 for ages 15 and under, and $20 for ages 16 and over. There will be prizes given in both age groups for the largest Dolly Varden, largest Raindbow, and smallest fish. The staff will auger holes for anyone that requests it.
