The Kenai Challenger Learning Center will be offering a spring break aviation camp March 12-16. The ACE Academy will offer experience with flight simulator, wing design, forces of flight, weather, and much more! The camps run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is for youth grades 8-11. The camp is $275, but there is also an overnight option with is $500. You may also receive homeschool credit and scout badges. The Nikiski Pool will be having its 4th annual Idita-Swim Competition that will start March 6 and will go through April 29. You can come swim or water walk your way to fitness! This is all in the spirit of the last great race, Alaska’s Iditarod Trail Sled Dog race. Every 50 yard lap swam or walked counts as a mile toward your trip to Nome. The registration fee includes an Idita-Swim T-Shirt.
