Bike Safety Awareness in Soldotna


The Soldotna Bike-Safe Awareness Event will be held May 12th
2012 starting at 10 am at the Soldotna Creek Park. Activities are geared for
all ages and riding abilities.

10 am- Bike safety tips, bike checks, helmet fitting and
helmet distribution by Safe Kids (riders under 18 are required to have helmets,
which can be purchased for $5). Free bright “share the Road” T-shirts
are available while they last.

11 am- Escorted 1-hour easy family bike ride for the group.
Baby trailers/training wheels are welcome.

12 noon- Riders return to Soldotna Creek Park for free hot
dogs, chips and drinks.

and Trails Committee, The Soldotna Police Department and SafeKids Kenai
