The Kenai Peninsula/Kenaitze Indian Tribe CASA Program will be offering a free training for any adults that are interested in becoming a volunteer to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). These CASA volunteers are able to speak for abused or neglected children that are involved in state or tribal court proceedings so that the child finds a safe, permanent home. You are able to apply online at www.alaskacasa.org, or you may contact Kym Miller in Kenai at 335-7219 or by email: kenaicasa@alaska.gov.
